Winnebago Launches the Supremely Small Hike100 Camping Trailer

It is compact and has a lot of functionality.

We see a lot of ultra-luxury trailers made by companies such as Airstream or Bowlus. However, many people don’t need or want such an enormous rig. Winnebago’s new Hike 100 trailer is aimed at the lower end. This thing is small but still very capable.

The Hike 100’s dry weight is 2,700 pounds (1.225 kg), making it a great choice for a crossover of medium size.
Ford Explorer This trailer would be possible to tow. It is 7 feet wide (2.134m) and 189 inches long (4.801m). The trailer has 77 inches (1.956 meters) of standing space.
Winnebago offers the Hike 100 in four different floorplans. Each one has a sleeping area, a kitchenette and a bathroom. Customers have the option of choosing from stacked bunk beds or separate beds on either side of the cabin. A murphy bed is also available. Or a combination of a queen-sized mattress with a loft bed. You can also choose from versions with a flip down door at the back that has extra storage or barn doors to increase airflow.

The Trail 100 can carry all your outdoor gear. Thule accessories can be added to the exterior of the rig to allow owners to transport kayaks and canoes. The back has a 2-inch receiver that can hold a bike rack.

Three extendable awnings provide shaded outdoor space of up to 200 square feet (18.58 m2) when it’s time for relaxation. Drop-down panels provide privacy for outdoor showers or changing clothes.

The trailer’s roof has radiant-foil insulation to keep occupants cool. There is a 31-gallon (17.3 liters), fresh water capacity. Additionally, there are 4.75 gal (17.98 Liters) and 25 gal (94.64 Liters) gray water capacities. The tanks are kept from freezing by the 12-volt pad heaters.

A standard 190-watt panel is available for power. There are also preparations for plugging in a portable solar panel for additional juice.
