That is at least what it seems to be in Germany.

The range-topping model is the most common image of a new car. While some automakers may occasionally share photos of midrange models, we don’t recall the last time we saw an entry level trim in a press photo. Online configurators allow you to see all trim levels and how they look in different configurations.

BMW Deutschland already started the 2021 Series Coupe configurator a few days after the world premiere. The whole thing is here, starting with the base-spec 420i, then moving on to the 430i and finishing with the M440i. There are also a few diesels in the mix. The new is perhaps even more fascinating 4 Series You can have fancy options like laser headlights or a head-up display, but keep the traditional instrument cluster. This is a good idea, as some people prefer to keep the traditional look over going digital. The configurator has not yet been launched by BMW USA, but we know that the North American lineup will be based on the 430i instead of the weaker 420i. The 2021 4 Series Coupe starts at $45,600 with rear-wheel drive. For an additional $2,000, you can get the 430ixDrive or the M440i AWD.
