The new version of the Defender ditches the loud, booming sound of a V8 in favor of something quieter: the Tesla drivetrain. It can deliver the SUV a range of 220 miles on one charge due to its 100-kilowatt hour capacity. The Defender can be charged in three phases, taking five hours.
